1. No purchase or entry fee is required for participation.
2. Contest is open to residents of the U.S., except employees of The Standard-Times/SouthCoastToday.com and their families.
3. One entry per valid email address. One photo per entry (photo must be saved in high resolution).
4. Photo entries must be submitted through Photos.SouthCoastToday.com.
5. Entries must be received no later than Wednesday October 25th. The voting will continue until noontime Friday October 27th.
6. Winner will be announced on Photos.SouthCoastToday.com.
7. By submitting your photo to Photos.SouthCoastToday.com, you agree that such photo and the accompanying information will become the property of The Standard-Times/SouthCoastToday.com and you grant The Standard-Times/SouthCoastToday.com permission to publicly display and use the photograph in any form or media for any and all purposes. You also warrant that (i) the photo is your original work and does not violate the copyright or any other personal or property right of any third party, and (ii) you have obtained any and all releases and permissions necessary for our use. Your submission also allows The Standard-Times/SouthCoastToday.com to edit, crop or adjust the colors of the image on an as needed basis. We do not guarantee your photo will be published. All photos are reviewed prior to publication.
8. Winner will receive Halloween Basket with goodies including Buttonwood Park Zoo passes, iParty gift certificate, and more. Approximate value $300.
9. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent by winner to the use of their photograph by The Standard-Times/SouthCoastToday.com for editorial or promotional purposes.
10. SouthCoast Media Group reserves the right to alter any rules of any contest at anytime.
11. Winners are solely responsible for all taxes and/or fees that may be incurred. Upon proper verification, prizes must be picked up at The Standard-Times, 25 Elm Street, New Bedford within fourteen (14) business days of contest end.
12. Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings.
13. Neither SouthCoast Media Group, SouthCoast Media Group sponsors, nor employees of SouthCoast Media Group or sponsors may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of usage of any winners of a prize once possession has been taken of the product by winner. SouthCoast Media Group is not liable for any loss arising out of or in connection with or resulting from any contest.
14. If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, SouthCoast Media Group may substitute a prize of like or equal value.
15. You acknowledge and agree that SouthCoast Media Group shall have no obligation to post, display or otherwise make publicly available any photo or information submitted by you, and may, in its sole and unfettered discretion, remove, edit, modify or delete any photo or information that you submit to SouthCoast Media Group.
